Warren Towers

The class took a field trip to Warren Towers to sing to the residents. Here are some of the kids waiting in the entrance waiting for the elevator. We would have walked, by we were supposed to sing on the 13th floor. We squeezed our entire class plus some 4th graders into our elevator.

Here we are crammed in the elevator. You would have thought this was their first time in an elevator!

Turkey & Pumpkin Pie

We decided to have turkey and pumpkin pie to celebrate Thanksgiving. This particular turkey is missing its eyes. The kids seemed to enjoy making & eating their creation.
This is our version of pumpkin pie. I sent the directions home with the class today.

Our reading buddies joined us for the snack. The pumpkin pie was a hit!

YUM!

Mrs. Neff helped getting the ingredients ready. The kids measured, poured & stirred.

Halloween Party

Here are some of our Halloween spooks. Can you guess who is who? Star Wars was a favorite among the boys this year.

The kids are waiting for all the excitement to begin. They thought it started at 8:30 on Friday. I tried to contain them until the festivities began.

Laura is rolling the pumpkin trying to knock down all of the ghosts.

Jordy is waiting her turn. Will she knock them all down?

The kids all had time to play the two games as many times as they wanted. They had a great time! I would like to thank everyone who helped make this a successful party!

Acorn Hunt

Our class teamed up with Mrs. Sevier's & Mrs. Neff's classes to collect acorns for the Living Lands and Water foundation. We will spend time this year focusing on environmental issues.

Some of the boys take time out to pose for a photo.

Mrs. Sevier & Mrs. Neff are collecting at our first stop of the field trip.

We took a little time out to play at the park during our last stop.
