Here are a few pictures from our Valentine party. The kids played lots of games, opened their Valentine cards and ate plenty of food!Below is a picture of Anna with her mom.
He is wearing his Valentine necklace we made in class. He's lucky he didn't use a chocolate heart in his necklace. The chocolate hearts didn't last very long once the kids put them on. Their body heat is all the chocolate needed to start melting. Lesson learned.
I have been teaching in the East Moline School District since 1996. I grew up in East Moline and graduated from UTHS in 1990. I taught second grade at Bowlesburg for twelve years. I thought I would take on a new challenge and take over the physical education program.
